Thanks again for everything... the whole experience was fantastic and tremendously productive.
And big fun. I pretty much wish we were still there. - Eric Pfeffinger, Playwright, MALIGNANCE

Thanks you so very much for this extraordinary opportunity. What a gift. The play has come an enormous distance
– thanks to you, PlayPenn – the amazing cast and crew.

We have been musing on what a terrific time we had in Philadelphia. What a gift.
Thank you so much for selecting A SCREAM. I think the play grew enormously and it was amazing to
work under such condensed, focused conditions.

Play Penn was such a joy. Though I truly have no idea what my next steps will be, beyond a lot of thinking...
Not such a bad thing after all that nonstop rewriting... - Gina Barnett, Playwright, A SCREAM

Just wanted to thank you all for a great couple of weeks. I had such a good time working with all of you and I hope
to do it again someday. Thanks for letting me take us into the deep of a rehearsal process with all the new pages
from Lucy. The play really came to life with all of you and is truly more itself ready to be see.

I just got back in town, and wanted to write and thank you for a terrific experience. I know that Gina and I
had a ball, and felt the conference really provided us with an ideal environment to work on the play.

I hope you’re still glowing from the success of PlayPenn! What a wonderful event, and how much loving effort
was in evidence throughout the weekend. Every playwright I met raved about the experience and the local talent.
I thought the texts were strong and the casts marvelous. Congratulations!

I admire your work tremendously and am grateful, in the coattail sense, for the ways in which PlayPenn
enhances Philly theatre’s reputation across the country. I look forward to next year!

Paul: Thanks so much for arranging a very special treat! I thought Scarcity had great promise and I really
enjoyed my time with Lucy. Last evenings symposium was interesting and a very fun way to reconnect
with some theatre friends. Good luck with the Festival. I hope to be able to come Sunday to Malignance.
I was disappointed not to see coverage of the Festival in today’s Weekend Section of the Inquirer.
Too bad for people to miss out. - Lee Van de Velde, President, Board of Directors, Arden Theatre Company

You are a gentleman and a true artist. It was a blast and I looked forward to coming in every
day to new material, new blood, new thunder, new laughs. Thank you for including me in a room full
of great artists and wonderful people. I look forward to seeing you again...way sooner than next year I hope.

I just wanted to say it was an absolute pleasure working on Malignance with you. Thank you . . . for the opportunity.
It was so exciting watching the play develop and it was great to meet those of you I had never met before
and to work with those of you I already knew. - Sarah Doherty, Actor, Eric Pfeffinger’s MALIGNANCE

You set a record for fast turnaround, far as I'm concerned. How refreshing to see someone dive right in. Thanks for that.
