LILA ROSE KAPLAN'S plays have been seen and developed at Arena Stage, The Kennedy Center, Ensemble Studio Theatre, Mixed Blood, Manhattan Rep, La Jolla Playhouse and The Culture Project among others. She has been fortunate to work with Naomi Iizuka, Sarah Ruhl, and Paula Vogel as her mentors. In June Lila Rose will receive her MFA in Playwriting from UCSD. Lila Rose is delighted to be part of PlayPenn this summer. Starting in the fall, she will be the Shank Playwriting Fellow at Cornerstone Theatre Company in Los Angeles.
