JAMES J. CHRISTYS' first full-length play Never Tell was produced by Broken Watch Theatre Company in August 2006 and was published by Playscripts Inc. in April 2007. His play A Great War was a finalist for the 2009 PlayPenn conference. His short play Creep, which won the Actors Theater of Louisville's Heideman Award for best short play in 2001, has been published in multiple anthologies and produced throughout the U.S. and Canada.

LOVE AND COMMUNICATION
She’s becoming emotionally attached to a stranger from an online support group. He’s having violent fantasies about assaulting a school administrator. Megan and Rob Holden’s marriage is slipping away and now the one thing that has united them –finding help for their son with autism -- is driving them apart. Love and Communication is a haunting and incisive play about tangled relationships in which two desperate parents do battle with a byzantine educational system -- and their own insecurities. The fate of one beautiful boy hangs in the balance.
