PlayPenn’s 2008 Conference is fast approaching, and we hope you will join us in making this year a great success. This summer, we will be working with approximately 80 artists including playwrights, directors, dramaturgs, actors, and interns. This is the largest number of artists that we have ever employed at our conference, and we need your help to make our goals a reality.

PlayPenn’s work in service to new plays, playwrights, and the American theatre is only possible through the generosity of our donors. Please partner with us by making a tax-deductible contribution in support of our artists today.

Donations are possible through Paypal.

A pre-conference retreat for PlayPenn participants and additional play readings are made possiblein part by a grant from the Philadelphia Theatre Initiative, a program of the Philadelphia Center for Arts and Heritage, funded by The Pew Charitable Trusts and administered by the University of the Arts.

This project was made possible through the 5-County Arts Fund, a Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts program of the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency. It is funded by the citizens of Pennsylvania through an annual legislative appropriation, and administered locally by the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance. The Pennsylvania Council on the Arts is supported by the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency. The 5-County Arts Fund is also supported by PECO, An Exelon Company. Some Mongomery County projects are also funded, in part, by an appropriation from Montgomery County. For additional information about these grants, visit the Cultural Alliance.

Funding has been made possible by the Puffin Foundation.
