This 6-week remote class is for anyone who has taken Solo 1 and wants to continue to work on their solo show script. Similar to Solo 1, this hands-on class is designed to ready scripts for production by taking a close look at effective writing. This class is centered around a workbook entitled “Writing is Hard...” which is based on lectures given by Che’Rae Adams at various universities across the country. However, the series of in class exercises will focus more on structure, style and form follows function. Original material will be generated by the students, and feedback on the work will be given by the group. Students are asked to generate at least 5-7 new pages a week.
