Alisha Adams’ work often explores community-based, site specific playwriting methods. Her plays have been presented and supported by Padua Playwrights, The Leeway Foundation, Curio Theater, and Rutgers University-New Brunswick. She was an Emerging Artist in Residence at Plays & Players, a Douglas Byers Memorial Fellow with Signal Fire Arts, and a 2016 Resident Writer at 100W Corsicana. Alisha’s plays include Other Tongues (High Desert Test Sites, Philadelphia Women’s Theater Festival), Go Yeri Ston (Temple MFA Playfest), Unring a Bell (Runner up, 2016 Red Theater Competition; Finalist, 2016 Raw Stages New Works Festival), Shelter-in-Place (Philadelphia Fringe), and MEGA.
