Trans World follows the story of six transgender and non-binary folks temporarily living together as part of a new reality TV show. The lines between reality and make believe become blurred as people stop being polite and start getting real. Inspired by MTV’s 90‘s reality shows, Defoe brings an abundance of heart and humor to the story which explores the power of self expression vs colonialism exploitation.
