In a not-too-distant future, Taffeta, a fabulous queer creation of color attends a funeral for Democracy as the sole mourner. What ensues thereafter is an intense, intimate evening about love, privilege, and the actual cost of liberation. Bill is not only a performance— it’s an intervention of self-love, reclamation and sacred rage which will guide us back (or for the first time) to the promise of our country.
