About The Event
This free community event offers an evening of delicious local food, authentic storytelling, and meaningful dialogue inspired by Ama. Egg. Oyá, a new play by Lori Felipe-Barkin. Her work will be featured in two public readings as part of PlayPenn’s 2025 New Play Development Conference: directly following the Story Circle on July 12 at 7pm and again on July 18 at 7pm at The Proscenium Theatre at The Drake.
Together, we’ll explore the themes that pulse through the play, with a special focus on the personal stories and collective experiences of motherhood. This gathering is a space for moms to reflect, connect, and feel seen. Come eat, share, and connect!
